ActiveFX™ Testimonials
I am ecstatic with the results. A single treatment, in-office – and one week later I look 10 years younger.*

I couldn’t be happier with the results from my ActiveFX procedure. The procedure only took 20 minutes and I hardly had any downtime. My face looks flawless; all of my sunspots and moles have disappeared. The skin over my eyelids and under my chin is noticeably tighter, and my pores are now smaller. I feel rejuvenated, and recommend this procedure to everyone.*

What is ActiveFX™?
ActiveFX is a fractional laser procedure performed in a single treatment with minimal patient downtime. During the procedure, a high-energy beam of laser light is used to smooth out lines, wrinkles, and scars, reduce brown spots and other irregularities, and tighten the skin. It also stimulates the formation of new underlying collagen to continue improvement over time. With fractional laser treatment, only a fraction of the skin’s surface is treated by the laser, leaving small “bridges” of untouched skin. This technique makes the healing process much faster and enables you to get back to normal activities sooner.*
What are the benefits of ActiveFX?
ActiveFX treatment produces a dramatic effect on the skin:
- Causes immediate skin tightening*
- Reduces wrinkles and fine lines, and softens deeper frown lines*
- Noticeably improves skin tone and texture*
- Stimulates new collagen formation and plumps the skin*
- Restores the skin to a healthy youthful-looking state*
The ActiveFX Consultation
During an ActiveFX laser treatment consultation, you will meet with a skincare expert at Sensational Skin. After the two of you have discussed the skin issues you would like to be treated, they will tell you about the details of the treatment process. This will include pre-treatment care steps and aftercare directions.
The skin expert will examine your skin and look over your medical history. Photos may be taken as well. Make sure to ask any questions you may have about the ActiveFX cosmetic laser treatment.
ActiveFX Laser Treatment Aftercare
Typically, recovery after ActiveFX laser treatment takes around five to seven days. Patients may choose to have some social downtime during this time. They will be able to perform normal everyday activities soon after treatment.
A degree of redness may be present for up to two days but will fade. A cold compress can aid in this process. Peeling will occur, and the treated areas may be itchy.
Avoid using cosmetic products for around three days following ActiveFX laser treatment. Keeping one’s head elevated while sleeping is recommended. Sun exposure is to be avoided, and it will help to use a moisturizer and proper sunscreen.
The Results of ActiveFX
The results of ActiveFX laser treatment are long-term and, with proper sun protection, can persist for many years. Most effects of treatment become visible right away, whereas others – such as new collagen formation, which leads to continued inner tightening – build up gradually and become more evident over time.*
Therefore, most people look even better 3-5 months after the procedure.*
Cost of ActiveFX Laser Treatment
The price of ActiveFX laser treatment can vary from patient to patient based on the specifics of their individual case. The cost may be impacted by factors like the patient’s aesthetic goals and the types of skin issues being addressed.
